It’s not like he signed cheap bc he was just dying to play with one of the worst teams in the league

Good deal for both sides, but I don't really get what "test" Murray passed? He signed his guy 2 days before the season, and has had 0 practices with his supposed partner Kulikov.

Good job by Murray and Risto getting it done, it's better than the Trouba or Lindholm situation. But Seth Jones signed this contract months ago.

The test is this season's results, nothing more, nothing less. Make the playoffs. We're ready. Anything less is unacceptable

Yeah, I was saying that was the only way for them to not have the same rules. I'd heard it was at least as much as Vegas's, probably a bit more. I didn't know it was that much more though. So there's no way they don't do exactly what Vegas did. Whether it works for them, whether teams are in similar situations and whether the GMs learned anything from last time is yet to be seen.
