Those were the correct numbers facts on Faulk, especially his horrible career (-109) rating.
There was also no serious pitch made by both the Leafs (and the Bruins) to acquire McDonagh, (though the Bruins paid dearly for having just about 10 weeks of Rick Nash, whose offensive production always runs dry come postseason time).
If the Leafs had acquired McDonagh at the deadline, even in some trade involving Nylander, they would have likely won their 1st Round series over the in part, injured playing Bruins with a very shaky Rask in goal. That despite Matthews having a poor series with only 1 Goal and 1 Assist, and being a (-4). Nylander was not much better in only outproducing Matthews by 2 Assists for his 4 total Points, and going 1 better with a (-3) in that 1st Round loss in SEVEN games.
