I'm open to trading Nylander for a Dman but not Faulk.

Faulk has declined the past 2 seasons, I'd trade high pick and prospect but that's it.

Skinner for a year before becoming UFA is intriguing though........

Because they want to replace Gudas after he single handedly was responsible for the Flyers elimination by Pens these last playoffs.

Both really good in offensive zone, on PP etc.

that's a horrible d group. the wizard and borgman wont be full time on the team. Call ups if need be.
There's no need to trade for a back up. we have one - Mcback up for another year...plus sparks on the way.
I love simmonds....but we cant afford to trade D away for a forward...we need to improve our D. Im all for moving Gardiner for a better defensively sound Dman.
We can afford to lose a little offense.

Leafs can pick up Mike Green without any player cost and he will probably sign a 2-3 year deal for about $5 million - why on Earth would Leafs trade a valuable asset?
