Perception is reality, mon frere.
- Wetbandit1

Perception is not reality. Reality is concrete and there is only one. Perception is what one perceives to be reality. Since perception is arbitrary and there is only one reality then perception cannot be reality. Reality is the state in which things exist but perception can be manipulated but reality cannot. As an example I can perceive something to be alive but in reality it is dead. I can perceive I am rich but in reality I am poor. I can perceive I am healthy but in reality I am sick. Reality is concrete and there is only one.

Perception is not reality. That is a common misconception. Perception is what one perceives to be reality. Since perception is arbitrary and there is only one reality and that one reality exists the same for all then perception cannot be reality. Reality is the state in which things exist but perception is what one thinks something to be and can be manipulated, reality cannot. As an example I can perceive something to be alive but in reality it is dead. I can perceive I am rich but in reality I am poor. I can perceive I am healthy but in reality I am sick. Thus perception is not reality but what one believes to be reality.

I've said all along that housley should take a big part of the blame for the early season struggles...botterill should shoulder his fair share for hiring a rookie coach who showed he was ill-equipped to make necessary adjustments when his system blew up in his face after game-3

I am not a fan of ror

I am not a fan of risto

I do not think sam reinhart will ever play in an all star game

but...

the moves that should be made

try to move pommer, bogo, okposo, beaulieu

figure out who is playing net with ullmark (bernier IMO)

continue to develop rochester

and if ror, risto or reinhart is an issue this fall, ship them out

reinhart is a 22 year old who scored 25 goals, we can't score goals

risto was easily our best d man before the dahlin era, we suck on d

ror could very well be a decent player to have if we ever get good

rant over

Um....on this board it is alllllllways the players and almost never the coach. Backread the last 5 years. Hello there are hundreds of comments on this thread alone literally bashing players left and right but to suggest a rookie coach whose team did not win a game until December is over his head means the players are to blame is idiocy.

Do you not remember how this was teams struggles were squarely put on Dan Bylsma’s shoulders last year? How he didn’t handle Jack and other well, the players wanted him fired etc. Those stories are believed to be 100% true.

But when the same media memebers say that there are players not playing Housley’s system, those stories are easily dismissed.

It’s really easy to blame the one guy not on the ice

Bob McKenzie dropping the big 'C' word (culture) and how it must change on the Sabres.

But hey, culture is probably fake.

95% of the time it is. Culture is a buzzword.

Culture has zero effect on winning/losing, but i'm too tired to have this Debate today.

When the Sabres get Dahlin does their culture change, or does their talent level?

When Tom Brady retires does the Pats culture change or does their talent level?

When Sidney Crosby retires, does the Pens Culture change or does their talent level get worse?

I never said he didn't, I just find the culture thing very laughable.

Detroit after 20+ years of making the playoffs is talking about how to change the culture of their organization.

Why all the sudden do they have bad culture? Or is it because they just don't have good players anymore.

JT will not be going to the armpit of America....and this comes from someone from Detroit originally (now in Toronto).

Also, who wants to play somewhere where the young star thinks he’s a mega star and tries to run the team. He may become a real good player (already a good one) but man does he have a crappy attitude.

JT will stay on Long Island.
