You mean in the 2 games he played ?
- sbroads24

I didn’t realize he only played 2 games,
was just looking for a name ppl would recognize

How’s about David Perron over:
Ovechkin
Crosby
Laine
Etc etc etc

Taking a solo stat doesn’t give the full picture
It’s a microcosm of the situation
You do this all the time

That’s why i say you “cherry pick”

You’re an “analytics guy”
And even the ANALYTICS EXPERTS say you’re wrong about O’Reilly

Mittelstadt’s poor 5v5 numbers are ok,
bc Minnesota had a terrible offense

Buffalo had a terrible offense as well,
but O’Reilly gets ripped for his 5v5 numbers

Justify the contradiction,
I’ll wait.....

- jdfitz77

The contradiction is YOU comparing the NCAA to the NHL.

Middlingstats scored at just under a .ppg when he got called up to the NHL and his goal was one of the most flat out dominant goals I have seen a Sabre score in over a decade.

Nice to see a real shot and goal compared to " we need the garbage goals in the blue paint" cause we have no other shot than Jacks one timer off the wing.

Extremely small sample size,
But ok...
Why do 5v5 stats count more in the NHL than the NCAA?

dahlin, casey and average goaltending puts us up 25 points IMO right off the bat
62 to 87 points

I’m very proud of how far you’ve come along on analytics since they fit your narrative.

Can’t wait until they don’t again. Then we can read the “BS stats” posts from you every other page.

- sbroads24

Bc when u take ONE or even just a FEW analytics stats,
it doesn’t tell the WHOLE story
Leaves out way too much pertinent data

Thus, rendering making a judgment based on the few stats BS

The analytics that YOU subscribe to,
consider O’Reilly MUCH better than you do

That’s as contradictory as it gets

When i asked,
U had no answer to explain the discrepancy
I’m assuming u still don’t

point is the standings the last 3 years, nothing more, nothing less

I don't think they are going to move him

I also don't think he is special

IMO he is an average second line center that was over hyped by us and the league before murray signed him to a 7.5 mil long term contract

the rumor of him and jack not getting along has legs

I don't think they move him, like I said last week

I fully expect either casey to be on jack's wing, or playing with ror and ror taking the faceoffs

dahlin changes everything

- homiedclown

O’Reilly’s fault?
Or you just assuming?

If he’s a d!ck, then fine... get rid of him
But I’m still waiting for u to come out and say how ANY of the locker room stuff is SPECIFICALLY because of ROR

I’ve asked repeatedly,
and u never give a direct answer

When ROR ignored Jack eichel's fist bump I knew there was a problem

I think you see the true value of a guy like ROR in the playoffs, problem for us is getting anywhere near there.

Is this from your sources ? Becuase I know Botts loves his depth down the middle and Eichel, ROR, MIttelstadt (if he lives up to the hype) could be the deepest in the East (hides)
