Every time I think about Hartsy, I 'll always remember the glove throw, absolute classic.

The glove and the hulk Hogan thing someone posted are easily two of the funniest things I've ever seen watching hockey.

The Hulk Hogan thing was great. Sad that the gentleman has passed away from cancer.

Yeah, I definitely felt bad when I read that. He seemed to take it well.

Supposedly Hartsy and him talked while he was being treated for cancer.

This might be Ov's year. Caps absolutely dominate the lightning in their own barn twice. The Jets have had too many games against the Preds that they showcased last night. I going for the Jets but they look like two different teams some night.

Tonight is must win for the Bolts. They can't go down 3-0 to the Caps. But if the Caps find a way to go up 3-0 and then lose the series I could see Trotz being shown the door.

Scott Hartnell is another player I felt was dealt too soon. Maybe I look too far into players with character (Roenick/Pronger) but those guys definitely make the team fun to watch. I'm hoping Konecny can be next guy. Maybe not by personality but definitely by play (Briere).

I would bet real money that series is over. Tough to come back after losing the first 2 at home.

Bob Rotruck just tweeted that Scott Gordon said Varone and Sanheim will be available at some point during this series, and Stolarz has been cleared to play. Although Stolie is presumably the 4th goalie option behind Lyon, Tokarksi and Muse.

Yup. The Phantoms love putting 19 and 20 year olds in the playoff lineup straight out of Junior.

Am I crazy or would anyone else just roll out of camp next year with Provy, Hagg, Ghost, Myers, Sanheim, and Morin? I understand the value of veteran presence, etc. but I'd rather see these young guys make the mistakes that Gudas, AMac, and Manning were prone to last year. AMac did have a nice year overall. I think we need to get moving on these guys getting NHL experience. The other part of my thinking is to get these guys the experience prior to Carter Hart making his debut (2019-2020). Too much, too soon? Of course, there is a chance Hart could see action in 18-19 but I would be fine with his entire season being with the Phantoms.

I see those 6 and AMac as a possible 7 dmen but I think Myers may get another year in LV.

Unless he is traded or hurt. MacDonald is pretty much a lock for the top 6. They're going to need some veterans out there on the back end. Either him or Gudas.
