Raffl's goals against Czech Republic were also pretty nice.

Re: Hartnell

Wonder how many players from his draft class are left in the league. Might not be a ton. IIRC, 2000 wasn't a great class

He was a good player. But Father Time remains undefeated

I think I just read matt Cullen is the oldest player in the league?

Yeah I think Cullen and then Chara is a bit behind him. Both drafted in 96

Good ole Scotty played the most games of any player from that draft by a good margin.
(1249). Next closest is Justin Williams at 1162.

Without a doubt, he helped pull the team out of the abyss.

he scored the final goal of the 2010 season, and the 2nd goal of the comeback vs. boston. gave them a chance.

that game was incredibly frustrating. they trailed 2-0 and scored twice late to tie it. miss a lot of those guys.

I am glad you and thousands of others told him to shoot. There is no telling what else he might've done

the purpose of the game is to score goals, you can't score goals if you don't shoot.

Yep. I remember telling my wife after the second that I wasn't even going to care about the game since the refs effectively gave them no chance. I sat in the stands and did nothing when they tied it, and then celebrated like an idiot when Hartnell scored with my wife trying to sit me down and yelling at me.

You also can't score goals if you don't skate. We should all start yelling "SKAAAATTTTE" as soon as the player receives a pass outside of the offensive zone.

But I guess "DO SUMTHIN WIDDIT" incorporates skating it.
