Great 1st game, the Jets showed speed and intensity. However, it seemed like the sense of urgency was lost in game 2. We were playing down to Vegas and getting too relaxed out there.

I agree with CharlieDog about Roslovic. I really like what Armia brings to the team, but this is the perfect match-up for Roslovic. There is enough room out there for him to use his speed and energy.

If Kulikov is healthy, as they say he is, then we should be playing him. I would take Chiarrot out.

Jetsnation, you are absolutely right about being physical with Karlsson and Marchessault. I wish the Jets would go after the other teams top players, as opposed to getting sucked in by the other teams 'plugs'. We consistently see the other team going after Scheifele during and after every play - we need to do the same.

The biggest mistake that Maurice makes on home ice is that he begins line matching and does not let his team get into a flow. I also did not like how the defensive pairings were utilized. It appears that Buff and Enstrom were on lots with the Stastny line while the Morrissey, Trouba pair was on lots with the Scheifele line. Also, I think its time we all realized that Ehlers with Laine just does not work. Ehlers spends way too much time worrying about Laine and I think would do better on his own line. It might be lat to do this and I think they should experiment with it if they are leading and try the following lines:

Connor-Scheifele-Wheeler
Tanev-Stastny-Laine
Ehlers-Copp-Armia
Perreault-Lowry-Little

The Jets also need to start shooting more on 2 on 1's. The number of non-shots on those plays is disturbing.

Ultimate thoughts for the day...

The only thing I worry about bringing in Kuli is the game speed issue of being away for so long. Vegas is so fast and and I not disagreeing with you, just some concern of getting back up to "tres fast speed" with Vegas.

Your second point, I concur totally with you and JN. Clean hits, but finish the check with some mustard on it. Need to slow them down and wear them down with the big bodies.

Go Jets!

Absolutely valid concern, but I think we will need him for the Finals, therefore get him in there so he will be up to game speed for the Finals. I completely understand that we shouldn't be over-looking Vegas, but I am confident we will win this series. I thought Vegas would make it this far, as they are a good consistent club, but overall we are a better team and it will show.

Think its starting to get really frustrating and concerning that the Jets can't string two good games together. Know there are two teams out there but this team needs to learn to focus after a win.
