They've FINALLY figured out that it takes a 'team game' to make it anywhere in the playoffs. They always had those role players like Chimera, Fehr, Laich, etc. but now they have those same role players with a bit more talent. Eller, Connolly, Smith-Pelly, etc. seem to be playing very well.

Being the underdogs might be helping them mentally as well.

The Caps have a chance to sweep the Bolts at home, though I doubt Tampa Bay would allow for that to happen.

Haven't watched a second of this series, but I have to say I am shocked. The Caps/Pens series was so tight and down to the wire. Pens were 1 inch from winning game 3 on a late Malkin post and 1 inch from winning game 6 on a Kuhnackle overtime post. Probably the tightest, closest series I have watched in a while.

Meanwhile Tampa is just giving it to a dominant Boston team that has been on fire like they are a Peewee house team.

Looked like Tampa was going to sweep whoever won the Pens/Caps series. What is going on?

This is why they play the games folks. So easy to say that the Bolts are going to steam roll the Caps because they did the Bruins but its two completely different teams, systems and matchups.

In saying this I wouldn't be surprised if the Bolts take the next two...or if the Caps sweep.
