Yotes hired their GM when he was 26 and it's going great for them.

I rather see Jets rep the West, but it would be pretty funny to see Pens fans' reactions to Fleury going to the Cup (and winning) after exposing him and Murray having less impressive postseason. But I'd like to see Ovi win if we rooting personal over team. 3/4 teams have former Flyers as usual.

i think murray is a (frank)ing hack.

if we're looking at ex-flyers not winning, than the caps are the only option. jfc.

they sucked early but really found their game in the 2nd half. they've got some nice young players, and just locked up raanta for 4 years. they're trending in the right direction.

I mean, they had 70 points this year and 70 points the year before.

yes, i know. my point was the sucked early on...a continuation of last year, but turned things around in the 2nd half, and locked up a solid goalie who was injured for much of the early going. i think they're going the right way.

And the Flyers had 54 points in the second half, clearly setting the stage for them to have at least 108 next season.

they certainly are. Will be interesting to see what they do this offseason. They have the monies to make a big splash.

I'm going for the Jets. Be nice for Canada to get another cup. It's been a long time since the year I graduated HS - 1993! Jets are a really fun team to watch. Wheeler is their Giroux, Scheifele is their Couturier. They found pure gold in Paul Stastny. Why all the Big Buff hate – the Chitown loss from nearly a decade ago? If he was clobbering players in the orange and black you'd be in wuv.

Also that 4th line of the Jets is awesome. Tough tough blue collar yeoman's work.

i hope they can also settle the arena situation soon, and find a home downtown or in the east valley. i no longer live there, so it's of direct consequence to me, but i want to see them succeed long term.

$5 off game 6 and 7 tickets for the phantoms if you use code "overtime". worth the trip as long as your truck is up to date on maintenance
