Please provide some proof. He has talked fondly about being drafted by the Canucks. Where did you hear/ see this?
- CanuckDon

Some hockey blog, I cant remember the name I read so many and getting old lol, he didn't name teams just the teams I figured he would bolt, if he is fond of van then no problem I havn't heard that.

I really do hope we take a Forward with the 7 th. You are seeing what Bo can do playing with better players and Pettersson would benefit also. A sniper like Wahlstrom would be very exciting . If not then Tkachuck , or trade down for Veleno Kotkaniemi or Noel.

If you do take Dobson you will get a nice safe player that will fit into your roster in a year or two. Not a game changer but a nice safe player.

Hughes is a big question mark, seeing I have never seen him play but from all reports he is suppose to be good??

Sounds like you are foggy on Dobson as well.

Rick D had a brief convo with him. He said if Van drafts him his brother should watch out in Calgary as he is tougher. Something along those lines

The NCAA and the NHL need to get together and stop this, a team puts in 3 years of dev and he goes somewhere else its BS.
- Bettmanhatesus

teams dont put anything into it since NCAA guys cant accept gifts, perks, etc.

this isnt the nfl or nba where players have to declare for the draft, these kids have no choice when they get drafted and very few give up millions by waiting it out. teams walks away from kids, kids walk away from teams, happens all the time

I am pulling for Vegas and the reason is because of all the wheeling and dealing they had to do in one year is incredible. They did not have one player on the team at this time last year
- VANTEL

They did a better job than anyone building their team because they are the only team in NHL history with a door open as wide as they just had. McPhee wasnt exactly impressive in Washington when he had to build the same way as everyone else.

Nope. Gladly take him. I am just saying he is not a game changer, he would be a solid part to the puzzle. I think Wahlstom will be a 35 -45 goals a year

Wahlstrom's shot does look pretty lethal. Boeser vibes for sure.

THis is complete and utter bs. This "journalist" needs a beating. Who cares if he said he is going back to college? He isn't ready for the NHL. He is NOT going to play college for another 3 seasons. Nothing to see here. MOVE on

Dobson seems fine but where the canucks are picking there should be better options available. i get the impression by all the rankings ive seen that he is a clear cut below walhstrom, hughes, bouchard, boqvist and tkatchuk

Yeah if wahlstrom develops correctly then you facilitate a trade like Tampa did with Sergachev because you have so much depth at forward.

Makes sense to me. The thought of having good depth at any position sure is a weird one after the last 5 years

I would love having three 30 goal snipers Brock Wahlstrom Eriksson
