Also, Lyon is seriously making a great case for himself to be one of the Flyers goalies next year. Kid has been a beast!

Yep Lyon should push at camp next year if he keeps this up in the AHL playoffs.

It's hard to tell what happened on the Morin knee injury from that gif. Maybe his right leg got momentarily locked with the Checkers player's leg.

I think its time to sit the d prospects down and propose a splice surgery. With Morin's size, Myers right-handedness, and Sahnheim's skating, we can form the ultimate top pairing defenseman to go with Provy. I know its 3 1st round picks but hell this splice may be better than Dahlin.

Not exactly a top 10 list, but here are 10 things I'd like to see happen re the Flyers between now and game 1 of 18-19.

1. Lyon continues to play great in the AHL playoffs and leads the Phantoms to a championship.

2. Hextall does whatever it takes to move Neuvirth and clears the way for Lyon to earn a spot with the Flyers

3. The Flyers trade one of their first round picks in the 2018 draft for a good 3C who can step up and play in the top 6 when needed and who is under the age of 27.

4. They don't re-sign any of their NHL UFAs

5. They do sign a quality PKer with speed in free agency who can play on the 4th line and step up to the 3rd if needed.

6. They trade Gudas and open up a spot for either Morin or perhaps Myers to play in the top 6.

7. They sign a veteran UFA Dman to be the 7th D.

8. They re-assign Lappy to other coaching duties and put Knoblauch in charge of all special teams.

9. Morin and Sanheim are both fully healthy by the start of training camp.

10. They waive Weise and let him spend the season riding buses.

I think Hextall really likes Neuvirth. But even he is running out of patience. I think he will be given some leeway next year to prove that the third time is the charm with his trainers and offseason workout routine.

However, I think that Lyon may be playing himself into another contract, and if Neuvirth doesn't remain healthy will be the guy (Lyon), behind Elliott.

Nope, its a tribute band playing Jeff Lynne/ELO/Songs he produced for others like Tom Petty and George Harrison.

I still haven't gotten over the death of Tom Petty.
