Thoughts on your new management crew and coach?
- Wildschwein

Not sure what to make of it, honestly.

I felt pretty bad about it until after the interviews they were giving, especially Brind'amour.

Reading between the lines it seems like Francis really hamstrung a lot of the people around him and didn't take input on anything.

Waddell confirmed yesterday that GM is basically being done by committee between Waddell, Dudley, Tulsky, Brind'amour, Olzcyk and Tatum, he's just the one actually pulling the trigger.

Disagree entirely there.

Martinook's underlying numbers relative to his teammates are better than Kruger's have been.

And Martinook took takes shots at about double the rate Kruger does, while throwing hits way more often.

Not to mention the giveaway/Takeaway ratio, which is heavily sloped in Martinook's favour. It was a pretty good deal.

Martinook is bigger, faster, younger, cheaper, hits more, shoots more and scores more.

lol there's no way Kruger is above a replacement level player. The dude is beyond trash. He has 6 goals in his last 159 games. You can't have production that bad.

Martinook's CF Relative has always been positive, including this year, where he started 64% of his shifts in the D zone.

That one got a lot of play among idiots too. It only came up because he was specifically asked about it. Guys passed the quote around like it was a thing he randomly said in the middle of a press conference.

Pfffttt!

Nobody does bench anymore. It’s all about dynamic movements. Deadlift and such.
I bet he can’t even deadlift.

Probably in another year or two.

Kid hasn't been great for a while.

Hell his production against guys his own size has never been great except for those 7 games he played with Aho and Laine.

I don't think that there is many GM's who just do everything themselves, but (frank) I sure hope they don't start making small decisions as a committee.
