We all guessed at the lottery

We are very close to winning.
Suprired you are not "on it"

Its happening

- Boss34

How are close to winning? the players we have everyone keeps saying they aren't the CORE moving forward. Risto, ROR, McCabe, etc, etc. But now we are close?

i don't dispute that, but they were also the most attractive offer for him as well. Even as a fan, I doubt he'd sign there if the rangers offer fell well short of the next two or three best teams.
- Sabresfan-365

There are certainly other factors, but pro hockey players grew up loving the game and a team or 2.

Hopefully jt loved the bandits and sabres

We need a winger for Eichel not another center. I doubt Eichel is going to play on the 2nd line.

we need someone who can put puck in net

Isles don’t have an Eichel. Sabres possibly have a Barzal (Mittelstadt).
- Pegullaville

but eichel isn't a prospect, that's my point

If Stamkos had a crystal ball and foresaw the Leafs success after drafting Matthews do you still think he passes up the sponsorship deals and playing in the hockey Mecca ? Whether it’s Tavares or any other free agent, getting Dahlin changes the way people view our organization now. Anyone who watched the World Jr’s knows who Casey Mittelstadt is. Last season is history, we have a bright future and I’m sure we will be able to attract players to play here from here on out.

if you're counting dahlin, wouldn't svech be up there? Zadina? Hughes? I hear that Hischier kid had a pretty good year?

Yes, sooner or later we'll be a player in free agency. It won't be the summer after we finished last.

- Sabresfan-365

Fair enough. I’d rank them Dahlin, Svech, Petterrsson, Mittelstadt, Zadina.

Argumentitive people on here say a lot of things.

Eichel at 21 years old and determined. Injury free
Sam out of rehab
Ror 60 point guy
Okposo recovered from injury
Risto- 40 point defenseman. Mistakes or not on d
Mitts top prospect
Dahlin- connor McDavid comparisons
Guhle- 4th year since he was drafted and ready
Mccabe- finally had shoulder surgery
Erod- looked consistent and like an nhl player
Wilson- gritty veteran with rings
Nelson- resigned, looked competent
Ullmark - ahl allstar goalie

There's 12 good reasons and:

Cj
Baps
Borgen
Bailey
Olsofson
Pilat

If any of these guys can do anything positive.

Jbotts adds a few more guys and a real goalie.
It's on 89

Could have been with Toronto as well. We will never know. My point being is that Buffalo can turn this around quick just like Toronto did.

Yes. Playing in sunny, tax-free Florida in the ECF without the pressure he would most certainly have in Toronto. I think he is doing ok without those sponsorship deals.

Math is the same, and will remain the same until there is some sort of revelation in physics.

The common core is a slap in the face to math. The lessons they teach are nothing more than convoluted processes to try and describe simple concepts.

This.
I am no expert in CC, but having quickly watched a couple of video’s I just shake my head and wonder what happened to the concept of memorizing the multiplication tables and using them to solve larger problems.
But I am gifted, very gifted!

I'm an electrical power research engineer, and during college I did work at elementary schools and I absolutely do not agree with CC.

I think that it is an ok way to breach the topics, but it has no place being an actual solution method.

Random, but the Mark Giordano contract for Calgary is bonkers.

34, 4 more years at 6.75 per

Bringing in JT does have it’s merits, I’m not sure I would do it, but it would bring a ton of excitement to the Sabres. It could work, just like it could have worked with Stammer at $12m way back with Kane and ROR on the roster as well.

- JT makes his wingers better and had chemistry with Okposo. Reunite those two and holy crap! throw Reinhart, Baptiste or CJ Smith there to round out the line
- having Eichel, JT, ERod as 1A, 1B and 3 would be pretty, pretty good down the center...it stacks up with any other team
- shift Casey to a wing on Jack’s line...that is double holy crap...put Reinhart, Baptiste or CJ there to round it out

That is a pretty solid Top 6.
Round out Bottom 6 with ERod, Pommer, Bailey, the left over of Reinhart/Baptiste/CJ, Wilson, Girgs (if still here), and whomever else shines

Acquire a RHD to pair with Dahlin
-Dahlin-acquisition (from ROR trade)
-Scandella-Risto
-McCabe-Bogo
-Guhle-Pilut
-low risk acquisition (get Blow-U out of there)

Pilut replaces Bogo in time, Guhle moves up the roster as warranted..perhaps unseating Scandella in time.

I honestly had no clue who that was
Does he honestly think the younger generation would understand this

If he said something he’s better then Drew Doughty or etc

If someone commented on this, I apologize. I'm back reading.

The point, Gerbs, wasn't about who it was, but more that they're calling him the best draft eligible prospect on D in 45 years.

But will he be a second round talent that we can get in the third? If not, I want nothing to do with him or anyone.
