Your first comment about Eric Bledsoe was actually really funny because that's essentially how the bromance started.

During the first round, Rozier called Eric Bledsoe Drew by mistake. Eric was pissed, and said he didn't know who the (frank) Rozier was whenever Rozier came up. Then Drew posted on social media that he knows who Rozier is. Then Rozier showed up to a game in a throwback Bledsoe jersey. Then Boston had Drew do some video introduction for him and Drew sent Rozier a bottle of wine. They met for the first time earlier today.

I totally thought it was an intentional joke by Wetbandit until his later post. It just fit reality so perfectly.

Okay I will bite ..

How did we pick the wrong goaltender? One was a backup and the other one was a starter

For the 700th time

Their career stats are identical and Biron never played on a good team until the season we traded him.

Ryan Miller had 1 Vezina season on a President's Trophy winning team. He's a good goalie and we won that trophy despite him, our team that year had unbelievable depth on the front and back end.

Biron then went to Philly before they were even sniffing the Stanley Cup Finals and played on another weak team in an even tougher division.

and Miller was so over hyped, the return in a trade would have been HUGE

He was on a team that went straight to the playoffs 2 times he was there ..

Dude I think you're just making up excuses for Marty this is the same think the Montreal Canadiens dealt with the Halák versus Carey Price who should be moved

Yeah, I had no idea. I thought it was maybe just a slip by 19, but I wasn't sure, so I checked the news, maybe Drew saved puppies from a burning house or something, but there was nothing, so I figured it was just a mistake.

Agreed

Some people think Marty was a All-Star goaltender sleeping just waiting to be woken up

He had his chance and he did not succeed

Good backup not a goaltender that can win you a championship

Except when Miller had a broken finger the season we traded Biron, we won something like 15 out of 16 games with Biron starting and his stats were fantastic.

Halak Was putting up Vezina Goaltender numbers in Montreal Half the fanbase wanted to move young price and keep Halak and the Upper management did not listen to the Fantasy fan base and it was the smartest decision Ever

Backups get hot it doesn’t make them starters

Where has Price gotten them and look what they have now? Quite possibly the worst goaltending contract this side of DiPietro.

We move Miller and keep Biron, that team's core stays mostly in-tact with the money we would have saved and the assets we would have gotten and we wouldn't have ended up any kind of worse.

This isn't even hindsight. Miller did exactly nothing for this organization. Nothing. He never stole a game for us, never took the team on his back and carried us through a playoff series and constantly blamed everyone but himself for his own inability to stop a shot high glove side.

He's probably the most overrated goalie of the past 20 years, in the entire NHL.

Am I the only one that really remembers when it’s 1-1 or 2-1 game miller would keep us in the game and our scores would let him down ?

No i always remember a 2 goal lead and him choking it in the 3rd. I always hoped that the arena would play the Mr. Softie ice cream truck tune when he did that.

I, like Beady, remember Miller droning on and on about how the team in front of him screwed up..I liked him early on, didn’t think he was great but serviceable...I eventually grew to hate his constant BS.

Reminds me of another guy who drones on and on about the same thing for three seasons now. Just shut up and play your best. I am ok with trading ROR, especially if there are numerous teams interested and the return works for improving the team overall.

Omg he let’s in 1 goal !!! He only can do so much when the forward group could not score one goal

We be lucky to have a another Miller in the system
