Tanev comes up becuase he has very good defensive results
injuries are an issue and age and Vancouver is dumb and probably a bad trade partner
- senstroll
hjlmarsson would be fantastic. when puck goes in the zone, he always seems to win the puck battle and get it up the ice to a teammate.
he would help with the fire drills we saw in our zone last year.
pesce would be really interesting. |

De haan for Gardiner money? I would hope he comes cheaper than that.
Would be nice if we can take advantage of Waddell. If leafs make Dubas GM, he might find it hard trading with the older GMs in the league who will be wanting to take advantage of his inexperience. I do still hope Dubas is GM though. - matt1337
Dubas is GM of the Marlies, he seems to be doing ok. No reason to think a guy that accepted the worst (by a galaxy or two) job in the NHL will outsmart him.

I am coming to a similar conclusion Hjalmarsson. I cant see the cost being a lot. Arizona didnt pay much.
pesce also, If Waddell is the GM, they might be ripe for the plucking |

Doubt Pesce is available. GAR is a regression stat, that is especially weak when discussing players on weaker teams. This is true for both Hjlmarsson and Tanev - who both see no time on the powerplay - which pads this stat for them - on teams with bad Power plays.
Carolina would probably move Faulk, Hanifin or Bean, I think they would be reluctant on Pesce or Slavin. Ducks are also a good trade partner. |

From Twitter;
Plot line;
In the new movie, John Rambo has swapped blood-drenched jungles for quiet ranch living in Arizona as he struggles with post-traumatic stress disorder.
But when a friend's granddaughter is kidnapped by a Mexican sex-trafficking cartel, Rambo cannot help but jump back into action and join the hunt for the missing girl. |

I watched quite a bit of hammer this year.
Shot totals against are low because he gets the puck going the other way. Always seems to make the right play.
I can't speak to the other players. |

I'd trade the 3rd overall pick for Hanifin. |

He's 30 and was injured a good portion of the year, he's a defensive specialist, I get it. If the price is right, he would be ok I guess, but he's not a top 4 guy is he? |

Wow - I wouldn't, not sure that Bergevin would (or be allowed to either) Montreal's biggest need is at centre. Unless they draft a r/w and convert him. Then they can hold a special training camp for Right wingers that would like to become centres.

There are no centre worth taking at #3.
Zadina is a winger, should be a good one too.
And we also need a LHD to play with Weber.
Hanifin is perfect. |

Wish he was an RHD.
I think that is what we really, really need..
Rielly - new RHD better than Zaitsev
Dermott - new RHD betten than Zaitsev
Hainsey- Zaitsev

For a second there I expected you to write Zaitsev better than Zaitsev on that third pairing. |

I agree that would be solid combo, not sure how much freedom Bergevin has to make moves at this point. Molson saying his job is safe usually a signal that changes are coming.

If we can get him for relatively cheap, then we should definitely go for it, he won't put us over the top, but wouldn't hurt us either.
