Yeah I saw that. I got the overpayment comment for Hamilton but the Gio one. Wow.

He's almost a salary dump so a 3rd round pick and a prospect or a dump going the other way.

pay his bonus july 1 and he'll only cost $1.25M/year in actual salary for 2 years.

AZ could be interested. a lot better player than rinaldo. could do the fighting so domi doesn't think he has to. tochett would like him too.

I bet Martin plays 60 games on the 4th line next season. They don't need his salary off the books this year and can send him to Robipul Island next offseason. Babcock likes that he keeps the flies off. This team doesn't need 15 goals from the 4th line LWer to make the dance.
