He is 21 years old (actually turns 22 tomorrow) playing his 2nd season of pro hockey in the AHL. Hardly a rare occurrence.

I guess I just get annoyed with the pigeon holing of players. Why is it assumed that because he is small he can't contribute to a speedy 4th line? I sometimes wonder if guys don't get a chance when they may have been ok players because of this thinking.

As a 4th liner, you have to be able to do more than just score. Doubtful he can do that playing on the 4th line so his best attribute is gone. From what I've seen of him, he's a career AHL player.

Flyers are really poop with promating guys from the AHL into the bottom six. That's why we always end up overpaying for bottom six players. At some point you need to give these guys a chance and I feel like the Flyers use a leash shorter than most teams.

Morin hurt again in 1st period, helped off the ice. Dude can't catch a break. Phantoms up 1-0 after 1.

Players are given plenty of chances. Ice time in the NHL is earned, not given. That burden needs to be put on the players, not the team hierarchy.

From what I understand he got checked and his knee slammed into the boards. Not sure if he had knee or groin issues this year.
