Back to back in the playoffs almost never happen.

So many bad trainers. My neighbor had a dog that was a year older than mine, but out of control. Well he got a trainer and the dog got better. He told me I should use the same trainer instead of the repetition and time I put in with mine. I said "nah I don't mind it." The he says "the trainer I had brought an e-collar and she was fixed in a week" I started laughing. Yeah, I can pretty much get my dog to listen to me too if I trained him with the threat of electrocution.

To answer Jans original blog question: I don't think we should move up into the top three.
I think the overpayment to Carolina to get to #2 will be too costly and

I can't honestly see Montreal trading with us from a P.R. standpoint. After stealing MacDonagh from them in our last trade between the two teams, do you really think they would deal us a possible future star player at #3 ?

I do think a deal would make sense with Arizona or even Chicago so we could get Wahlstrom. Both deals would be a bit cheaper to complete.

You don't think it makes sense but Carolina has a lot of young players showing they can play. If they had a half a decent goalie they'd have made the playoffs for sure.

Dundon also wants to make a splash I bet. Plus as Jan said Waddell likes to trade top draft picks. It makes for a perfect type of storm.
