Have you ever used on on yourself at a high level to see what it feels like? - JRR1285
I let a cop friend remove the prongs from his taser and zap me in the foot once. Holy hell did that hurt. |

That's a good use. Some of our high level dogs we did off-leash work using them. We also used it occasionally for behavior modification but that is not always effective. - JRR1285
Yeah, I just used it as the foundation for off leash recall. Boxer recall off leash is atrocious when they are young. Rarely have to use it now, unless he sees a duck or seagull.
We are working on the focused heel now. Fun (frank)ing times! |

Nope. I just set the stim inside with no distractions, and then set it again for outside when he is in high drive. Funny thing is, he reacts more to the vibrate than the stim. |

Most dogs off leash can be a hassle. It really just comes down to the individual. Some dogs are like glue to you and some run away like you don't exist. My dog is the latter. She's a Siberian Husky that will just take off and disappear. She got away in a snow storm once and I almost died catching her. Ran after her in 2 foot+ snow with shorts on.
I don't miss training one bit right now. I think I just need an extended break. Working with a ton of crazy people ruined animals for me, at least for a little while. |

I found most dogs to absolutely hate the vibration. Some would jump like they were shot. |

I have this one dog that’s always after me, I think it’s a small terrier of some sort, last week I told the owner listen if this dog comes at me again I’m literally gonna kick it across the street like a football and use that fence as the goal posts haha |

I love training, but I also don't have to do it for annoying people. Way more rewarding.
I was going to try training my guy for schutzhund, unfortunately his lineage is mostly show. He is ok on a sleeve, great at tracking, but not focused enough for the sport. Next boxer is going to be a euro from a working line. |

Small dogs are the worst, Owners don't think they have to train them |

Hey now, don't let morons ruin those dogs. When I worked in the industry all of the employees hated labs because they felt the public gave them a free pass on all behavior.
I could never understand hating on something because other people like it. I now equally dislike all animals and I need a break from having pets. - JRR1285
How often did you interact with Michael Vick?? |

Never, but I am pretty sure I met one of the dogs once.
We did get in fight bust dogs multiple times. It's amazing what some could go through and still be totally fine (towards people at least). Most ended up being dog social too. |

You're really well versed in training. Not expecting that.
Aren't Malinois the preferred breed for that? |

I didn't make up the abbreviation. Still not sure why the "d" has to be there.
Have at it...
