This day in May 9th is the horrible one year ago anniversary of the real beginning of A.V.'s coaching end here, with that Game 6 and blown series loss to Ottawa, instead of them winning it in 5 games only.
That led later to their off season hiring of Lindy Ruff as defensive coach, with many then thinking the hiring was made for him to replace A.V. during the season if things would have gone bad. I'm intrigued by this kid in maybe the third or fourth round. He only played Prep School hockey, but he averaged over 2.5pts a game (2.66; 80pts in 30gp). Committed to Providence. Project, but there's potentially some upside there. Decent size, too.
