I'm good . Live an hour away from the mighty river. On high ground. They say the river level hasn't peaked yet. Not good news. Hopefully no heavy rains in the forecast. I feel for those who have major damage. As always, insurance is iffy. And never enough to cover all the costs..

Nope. Just its power. St. John River. Water has to pass thru the Mactaquac Dam. They can control it somewhat, but need to be weary of the head pond level above it. They usually dump water ahead of schedule a bit, but it's hard to predict the effect of rain and milder temperatures in a short period of time. Also the north end of the province receives more snow than the south end, so it's a tricky call every spring.
