If i was gonna guess on the order of filling those 3 slots, i'd put it like so:

Gaunce
Goldobin
Liepsic
Gaudette
Pettersson
Boucher
Dahlen

- dbot

Personally I would have Gaudette ahead of Liepsic and maybe Pettersson ahead of him as well. Other than that pretty much the same. Also the possibility that they could open a 4th slot by making Archibald the 13th Fwd

I don't expect OJ to make the team this year. It would be a nice surprise if he could secure a spot but if not we have a million 5/6/7/8 dmen to fill the spots till he's ready.

Counting up forward roster spots:
Horvat Boeser Baertschi Sutter Eriksson Granlund Gagner Virtanen and probably Archibald

That leaves 3 slots, assuming we don't want any of the young guys being 13th forward.

Goldobin, Liepsic, Pettersson, Gaudette, Gaunce, Dahlen, Boucher is likely to be enough to fill those 3 slots imo. The rest can go to Utica. I think the only reason to look at UFA forwards would be to have something to sell at the TDL and even then it better only be 1 guy.

Only 2 C’s in that bunch so add AG & Gaunce. Archie odd man out going with youth. Goldoblin EP in Liepsic Granlund spares

No UFA F’s or soon to be unless a trade

Which is why they could look at moving Tanev and a winger(Baertshi, Granlund, Gagner) for a 2C or a 3C and a pick or 2

So forwards 170-180 pounds don't have lengthy careers typically because they are fragile.... even the gifted ones?

Bullfrog=Bullpoop

Stuck in the 90's much?

- boonerbuck

Your missing the point... to boldly come out and state a teenage kid that has proved nothing in the NHL is going to eclipse a guy that has had one of the best rookie seasons in franchise history is just plain stupid. There is no way to justify that sort of statement ...foolish to even speculate.

I expect Granlund to have a bounceback year offensively, Green was forced to stifle him last year by putting him in a defensive role. He will be a full time player

Tell Lindros Backes Horton Savard that
- Nighthawk

Exactly the point.... no way to predict a teenagers career ark before he's even stepped into an NHL game now is there?

I just spent 5 days in the hospital almost died last week. The nurse told me I was a medical wonder. Some of the nurses actually shook my hand. She told me that the pain threshold for a normal flu is 200 . My pain threshold was over 8000. They put me on IV for three days and it returned to normal. I had a reaction to a new med they put me on a few weeks earlier . I can not begin to tell you how painful it was but it was 400 times stronger than a Flu.

For the next two months only liquid meals no alcohol and no fun.

Big fan of Morphine

I expect EP will have a period of adjustment to the pace & lack of space/time in the NHL compared to the SHL. I hope he can beat Boeser’s rookie season, but I wouldn’t bet big money on him doing so. Beyond his first season, he’s got the most exciting potential of any Canuck prospect in a very, very long time, but there are no guarantees.

At this time I think it would be best for him to start in Utica unless he really impresses as much as Boeser did.

Well I love all the optimism that Pettersson will be not only in the NHL full time right off the jump. But some here think this guy is the going to be the best Canuck ever, all I can say is I hope so, but I'm not there quite yet.

I sure like Holtby, guy is a really good goalie.

People get carried away very easily for sure. I think he will make the team this year. No real expectation for points but i hope they give him some PP time

No... you missed the point. Your statement regardless of the foggy link you connect via hyperbole is still foolish. Guys his size do not most likely have their career shortened.

I have no idea what a seal rate is? I think of it as Lefty ordering hot dogs at a Canuck game

Same, I'm happy OV finally got his team there it was brutal watching them lose year after year.

I have no idea what to expect from the West if Winnipeg wins. The Knights are playing solid hockey and Fleury has been a wall but the Jets offense is scary good

Nylander and Ehlers are fading. JV isn't

EP will win Art Ross one day

- BobBot

Those 2 have already peaked and JV has barely scratched his surface. He was the best long term pick at that spot
