The Caps depth did well last game but the top line needed to step it up a bit. I thought the Pens outplayed them a bit last game.

I think the Caps need a fast start to next game and they need to do what they did in game 3. Hit, they are a big strong team and when they hit the Pens players can't take it.

It's to bad Wilson got suspended, he was the major X factor that the Pens didn't know how to handle

It's just that Tanner isn't really a fan of the Caps. He is more just a fan of saying things that he thinks people will disagree with, and will focus that on whichever team he happens to be assigned to cover. So at this point, he is far more invested in feeling vindicated for saying the Caps aren't very good all year than he is in seeing the Caps win. Of course, how he'll convince himself that the Caps having the exact same result this year as they did last year proves he was right is a whole other issue.
