not sure. But that has nothing to do with the hit as long as it was not a charging. It was deemed an illegal hit to the head. It looked to me as a shoulder to shoulder which Wilson drove through then made contact with his jaw. Bad outcome but a clean hit I think

That's fine...but there are too many of these prayers of a challenge that are bs. The idea of the challenges are to reverse an EGREGIOUS error. I want those caught as well..but I'm tried of coaches throwing out the challenge bs when they know full well there was nothing to see there. They added a penalty to the offside one as a deterrent so its not abused....goalie interference challenges have been abused to me.

How do you know if there was nothing to see there? With the inconsistency that has been the refs this season, that call could have been overturned. It’s not for egregious, it’s for whatever the coach things has a possibility to be overturned. Saying it’s only for obvious calls is retarded logic.

At this point in time Guentzel is better than Patrick. But Patrick is only 18. And a center. In 3 years Patrick may be better than Jake possibly making him more valuable due to the versatility of a center over a winger.

it's hockey, not just the NHL. It's always just been an unwritten rule to expect to take cross check, slashes, holds, abuse in front of the other team's goalie. Got cross checked right after you scored? Well, he was just trying to clear you out. Tough luck.
