That seems crazy. - Thorny87
I felt the caps had very few scoring chances the whole game. The only issue is I was unsure if even a weak wrist shot glove side would go in. |

Guentzel's first goal. Capitals' defenceman (pretty sure it was Orlov) blows coverage, puck goes across the line. Play is dead. Orlov gets a free pass to crosscheck Guentzel in tbe back. No call.
Never a call. This is 100% allowed in the NHL.
Just because. |

The Penguins have scored nine goals in this series. Crosby has been on the ice for only nine of them. |

Good goal.

I still thought they played like poop tonight. I think they can play a lot better. Kessel may need to sit. He is bringing nothing at this point but bade turnovers. - PittsPens
He’s done. He needs to sit. He’s a pylon defensively right now.
He’d use his own Moms as shield if it meant he wouldn’t get hit. |

He's clearly injured. He sustained some kind of injury at the end of the season and it must be hampering him. |

Yep, given up on complaining about that. Its stupid, and just as dangerous as boarding when its like what occurred tonight. |

I think when he crashed into the boards roughly 2 weeks before the postseason, he had a minor shoulder separation. If it was just a stinger it'd be healed by now... he should have sat out for a week instead of keeping up that ironman streak. Its just hurting us with him being near useless on the powerplay. The Caps don't fear or respect him with the puck, and neither would I. |

If you are not going to sit him, then at least put Jake in his place on the top PP unit

I believe this was a Twitter only thing... which makes no sense. This was the perfect image to show after the call was confirmed during the game.
"Hey look, here is what Toronto saw to confirm the goal, now you viewers can see it as well".
Now... put it on twitter during the 3rd period. |

It's all 31 teams, though.
The Penguins get away with it 100% of the time.
The Leafs get away with it 100% of the time.
For some bizarre reason, "it's part of the game." |

it's hockey, not just the NHL. It's always just been an unwritten rule to expect to take cross check, slashes, holds, abuse in front of the other team's goalie. Got cross checked right after you scored? Well, he was just trying to clear you out. Tough luck.
Change the culture. |

I know I've seen that kind of revue before and at least for the Blues, when it happened Panger and jelly said they don't always have that view. For some reason Toronto is the only place that has that view every game. You would think they would allow the camera access to every team. I guess not though |

I was kind of wondering if Orlov?? Was going to get an after the fact penalty on the 1st goal. Then realized it was the playoffs between the Pens and Caps. |
