Easy. The sixers happened. Haven't you seen this countless times this season?

Up big, miss, miss, turnover, make, miss, turnover, make, miss, miss, turnover, miss, miss, make, miss, miss and now it went from up big to up small after they put up 6 points in 6 minutes.

Good team, but still a work in progress

This is the worst I’ve ever seen a basketball team play.

The game was lost when no timeout was called in the last four minutes of the second quarter. That and just the dumbest shot selection and offensive possession I’ve ever seen in the nba.

Bigger adventure than Oli Maaaatttttaaaaaaa or no

EDIT: Love how Regis really hits the T sound hard in his name as opposed to "Mada" like literally everyone else on Earth.

i dont know what happened to him dude. its beyond rough.

i cant imagine being a family law attorney in camden. i guess due to less volume than in philly, they smash a lot of things together in the same building in jersey. just seeing some of that stuff unfold is unreal.

Absolutely. It would also help if Simmonds scored more than one point.

He hasn’t been himself tonight.

I get all worked up because I feel like this is a series they should win, especially since Boston is missing key players.

But then I have to remember these guys are so young and their first playoff appearance.

Agreed, I said "timeout?" about 4 times in the span of 3 mins. Love Brown but he blew it there. Everything went wrong, honestly.

Dude I feel you I litrilly sat on the couch and just repeated they're rookies (meaning Jo [I know he's not actually] and Simmons) like a psycho

Saric is lost out there, shame. Didn't he hurt his hand or wrist or something?

Signing Simmonds would be a questionable decision for a team that has already replaced him at the one thing he is good at: PP1. Patrick is here, and he is glorious. Wayne’s ES ability is entirely replaceable and then some short/long term.

I love the guy too and he’s a warrior, but if arguments 1, 2, 3 are all intangibles related, just say no to a long term contract for a bottom 6/PP2 RW in his 30s. It’s business. And you can get a great asset back to for a replaceable on-ice player. It makes too much sense, sorry.

Now back to the coffin. Deep breath.

- Mononoke

You love the guy but you think so little of him. Gotcha!

Wayne Simmonds is every bit the player Mike Knuble was here or Scott Hartnell. The problem is, the more we've traded away talent, the more we've depended on him. The problem is Simmonds hasn't seen regular time with a Peter Forsberg, Danny Briere or even Claude Giroux. Simmonds may have seen a season with Giroux and at this time Simmonds held his own as a front line RW would but within his overall career Voracek is likely to over shadow Simmonds at ES because they play the same position. Simmonds would be a first liner anywhere else, playing with the team's best talent.

how much do you think we can get him signed for?

what kind of contract would you offer him?

keeping in mind that Voracek is a much better player than Simmonds and it isn't really close

Brett Brown gave this one away twice in one game.

Ben should’ve never came back in.

I don't understand why he never called timeout during that Celtics run at the end of the first half.

Would love to see shooting percentages since the halfway mark of the second quarter.

What do you think? 60% to 30%? Game 1 all over again
