Simmonds has been one of the top PP goal scorers in the league for a number of seasons. Patrick has made some plays but he has not come even close to proving he is better at that spot. If you want to be a good team it helps to have two good PP units and I see Patrick eventually being a half wall puck distributor that can help build a quality 2nd unit or move up in case of injury. There is far more to Simmonds game than intangibles. I find your argument nonsensical.
