They could want to ensure one of wahlstrom or tkachuk. It is also possible they don't want either and moving down would not be an option. I also would not mind going off the board for that Jesperi Kotkaniemi kid. I either want a D or a C. Would like a backup if EP turns out to be a winger. - Retinalz
JK is definitely in the picture & as u said about EP being a winger. I like that a lot. My option is picking PK later if we can slide him & drop down the draft for him. After the Hawks the NYR 9oa probably want a C Wahlstrom & PK stand out outsider is Veleno. Oil at 10oa gotta go D unless a F from the top 6-8 drop to them. Still thats questionable so its D. Going to be interesting seeing how the 1st round goes. |

Never been a fan of trading down, but, I tend to agree with you.
Players like Veleno Hayton Wilde and McIsaac would be decent picks and get us another pick. - Reubenkincade
Where do you rank those 4 players? Ty |

Iām going off the board at 7 for Vitali Kravtsov. There I said it. - thundachunk
on a slightly related note, it almost certainly won't happen, but i could imagine a scenario where JB dials in on one of the Finns
yesterday i said i hope Tkachuk doesnt fall to us. at the same time i hope he does. id kind of just prefer the choice to be taken away from us so we can't hindsight it to death for the next 10 years
another weird inkling i have is zadina won't be the 3rd (or even 5th) best forward when all is said and done
dmen im happy with dobbo or hughesy |

I can see the Habs passing on Z they need a C & not a stretch they go off the board a bit. Will they trade down to avoid that?

(frank) READ THE ENTIRE POST.
I will even clarify. Both of them that's this year and next years. So both contracts end next season.
That is with the retained money. 10% of 3 million is 300K - manvanfan
its astounding how many posters here don't know how to read properly. I sympathize with your pain |

-Craig Button on Vancouver radio said that Hughes-Bouchard-Dobson are in one class together.
-Boqvist has fallen out of that group. Says he gets flustered in his own zone too often and makes ridiculous break out passes.
-Says you can make an argument for taking either one of those previous 3 d-men he mentioned after Dahlin. They are all real close. - classic321
So funny because he had Boqvist going 2nd overall in January |
