Goldy-Bozak-JV
Leipsic-Sutter-Eriksson
Motte-Gaunce-Gagner

Now that is a solid bottom 5 lineup if i've ever seen one.

(frank) me Bozak is my nightmare ufa pickup. He’s about as good as gagner in his own end.

Didn’t you spend over a week telling Hughes wasn’t good enough?
- neem55

I said he could become a very good player but doesn't have the potential to be a number 1.

But you had Bouchard and Dobson over him, what changed?
I’m just curious cause I keep teetering back and forth

I waffle somewhat at 7oa.
Between Wahlstrom & D.
Dobson is my D choice i guess.
If Wahlstrom can play C then it tips the scales for me though it sux to pass on D. If he is gone its easy to take D.

Nothing has really changed that order was the way i see the teams drafting. I like all players in one way or another but its where they are drafted that I like them. Id take dobson at 7. I wouldnt take bouchard or hughes. Id take wahlstrom at 7, I wouldnt take Kotkaniemi. I would love rasmus kupari but not before 14.

I'm kind of a believer in taking the BPA in whatever tier you are drafting in.

Man these two idiots doing play by play. The goal was on a shot. They keep going on about puck sitting in the net but that was the second time in the net... it was pushed in by hand the second time by Malkin but through all those replays these two dumb puck watchers don't even acknowledge that the frame they are saying in conclusive, is a no goal.

As far as I'm concerned, the actual "shot" angle is inconclusive as they showed the other night that the separation from the line disappears as you go overhead. Overhead was inconclusive.

I thought it was a no goal also.

Brian Burke can go back to being a GM. Annoying to listen too.

The goal was off the goalies hand and out... pushed back in by Malkin. After 12 replays, these guys still only see the puck and not what happened. Merica...

Dobson is the best defense first dman in the draft and puts up points. I dont think he will be around at 7.

If Dobson Hughes and Bouchard are gone then trade back to 12 to 15 and draft a center or Dman and pick up the extra picks.

I'm not into trading back.

If somehow Dobson, Hughes, Bouchard (as well as Dahlin, Svetchnikov, Zadina) are gone, you take Tkatchuk or Whalstrom at 7.

Tkachuck for sure. If he was abducted by aliens, drug cartel or god, I would trade down rather than take Wahlstom. Not that he's a poor pick imo... I just like a couple of other forwards that are close enough to me and we could use the extra pick if it were say, a 2nd.

As both are good additions for us, move back to 8 and pick up a 3rd and take whichever one is left

Once Crosby and Malkin are washed up and Pittsburgh sucks

I'll bet the NHL changes the lottery once again to benefit them.

Depends on what 8-10th pick.
Hawks NYR Oil but NYI at 11,12 could be a trade down if our pick makes it there. A C falling there is a start either Wahlstrom if he slides or Kotkaniemi. The sweetener is the make or break in the deal. Trade down is unpopular unless a home run. JB best to have some trades ready for options. If nothing happens our 7th will be a good player & no harm done.

I’m going off the board at 7 for Vitali Kravtsov. There I said it.

I guess that all depends on the Hawks & who they covet at 8. Wonder who that might be? They could use anything so BPA?

They could want to ensure one of wahlstrom or tkachuk. It is also possible they don't want either and moving down would not be an option. I also would not mind going off the board for that Jesperi Kotkaniemi kid. I either want a D or a C. Would like a backup if EP turns out to be a winger.

Never been a fan of trading down, but, I tend to agree with you.
Players like Veleno Hayton Wilde and McIsaac would be decent picks and get us another pick.
