Not sure how JVR is a surprise to anyone... Rumoured a few times during the year and fills the scoring LW hole that JB's been talking about for 2-3 years.

We're almost certainly going to get someone to play 2C, though I could see them rolling with Gagner between EP and someone else if they absolutely had to.

I've also had a long held suspicion that they tried to offload Hutton during the year but there were no takers.

Pouliot is our only dman who can actually make plays (therefore I keep him for now).

At the end of the year i felt like Goldy was reeeal close to making Bae expendable.

NFI who we draft @ 7 but I'm hoping that Tkachuk doesn't fall to us.

Pretty sure they wanted him gone most of the season. I suspect a few of those scratches were because they thought he could be traded. It’s his commitment/ attitude that is the biggest problem. Coach Green was hitting the town tonight perhaps he was celebrating a potential Hutton trade

I like the addition of some youth into the lineup, but supported by vets (physically and mentally).
Hopefully with some speed too.

I'd be fine with that lineup and much better than some proposed lineups without Tanev, sutter and Baer, etc. which is more of an AHL lineup.

Busy upcoming weeks ahead for me.

Buy & change out a wall oven & counter top stove. Get on finishing the outdoor spring cleaning since the weather has improved along with pressure wash the cedar roof gently & then the last side of painting the house. Trim out the windows once done. Other repairs later eg new deck coatings.
2-3 weeks but hopefully done by the May long weekend.
