yeah, and anyone who they hold the rights like a player that leaves for the KHL (i.e. Lyubimov) - YuenglingJagr
That dude still exists? How about Denis Tolpeko and Mika Pyorala?

Detroit or Montreal would be great destinations for Voracek. Both have the cap space. Both are looking to rebuild. Both first rounders would look great announced by Ron Hextall. - SuperSchennBros

Goulbourne was a starter for the Phantoms and Weise is better than him.
I don't know why people entertain these fantasies of players not reporting and giving up millions in guaranteed money just because they were demoted. - Feanor
not me, i ddint mention not reporting. I was kidding about not starting for LHV

Yeah like either of those teams is going to want Jake when they can get one of the top prospects in this deep draft in the middle of their long rebuilds they are now doing.

If they're looking to rebuild, why would they trade a top-10 pick for an $8M/year vet?
Andreas Nodl was probably the best of the three and still felt like such a huge waste of a roster spot just like the guys you mentioned. - SuperSchennBros
Nodl was a good 4th liner, he just could not finish to save his life. Very good skater, played a decent 2-way game, had hands of stone when it came to shooting.
I don't care, either. But we were talking about reasons why the Flyers organization might consider buying out Lehtera, and saving $1.67m in salary is part of the picture for them. - Feanor
I don't see that as a reason for why they should buy him out this off season. The cap space might be needed more in 19/20 then 18/19.

You can't rebuild by adding a skilled and experienced player in his prime? I know Hextall feels this way but Holmgren felt like Jagr had a positive effect on the young players. I wouldn't be surprised if Detroit was interested in Tavares as they were Stamkos.
