No one is taking okposo moulson or bogo. If they were they already would of been moved. It’s why it’s pointless talking about them. They are 3 of the worst contracts in league. Only way they are being moved is buyouts or trading 1st rd picks with them.

If you're looking to improve your team to the point of (at least hoping for) playoff contention, one of Ristolainen, O'Reilly, or Reinhart will need to be moved. They are the only roster players besides Eichel and #1 overall that have anywhere near the sort of value to get that done. If you're looking to stand pat, see how Dahlin develops, and accept that you're probably not going to be very good again for at least another year, you don't move any of them. Given that the Sabres have just been given the closest thing to a guaranteed franchise defenseman as you can get, I am okay with that approach.

Maybe Sam does go. But, you can see he's growing in maturity and becoming a very good player. He put up 50pts on the worst team in the league in only half a season. he could be a 60-65 pt guy next season, and no one on this team has had the ability to deflect pucks like him since Vanek. Like Sam's reputation has always been, he'll never WoW you with a play, but when you like at the stats he's got 4 pts in the game somehow.
