So who are we better off drafting Svechnikov or Zadina? Sounds like Zadina is Drouin 2.0 based on the scouting report and plays LW as well which we hardly need more of. - apex123
Well... Zadina is the next Pastrnak....
...now. |

Doesn't matter because they'll pick a guy slated 15th by everybody else. |

nah, they will entertain trade offers, end up drafting the best player available (Zadina), try to trade for another 1st round pick around the 10th spot to draft Veleno but fail as usual...because trades are hard |

Went and watched some youtube compilations. Gotta say, Tkachuk is skilled, more than I thought. Looks like a complete douchebag, but it runs in the family I guess.

Zadina. - Scabeh
All-in-all, Zadina can be categorized as both a two-way forward with a well-rounded game and a dominant offensive force.
He's good with and without the puck? Damn! |

It's what makes that family so effective, combination of skill, size and a nasty side to them.
I'd rather have Zadina but Tkachuk is a good player too. |

A francophone? - Pat1993
Let's repeat this poor defense of all French staff one more time for good measure. By that logic no sports team should have any foreign players/staff who aren't fluent in english or whaever the native language is because they can't speak it and thus can't talk to the fans? I can think of several examples of teams around the league who would be hurt by adhering to it and several past players on montreal who werent fluent in english, let alone french. Saying it makes sense from a business standpoint is non sense because I have a hard time believing a winning product with an English coach wouldn't financially trump the current mess we have right now with our brilliant francophone management. How often does the coach talk to fans directly? 99.9% of the time it's to reporters saying some cliche rhetoric anyway. As for the language barrier that's what translators and sub titles are for. Is this really a significant portion of the Montreal fan base that cares that much about having a French coach? I have a hard time believing it is. |

if this organization had at least one half-witted hockey person making decisions they would try to pry that pick from Carolina with Carey Price. Carolina already has some nice young talent and they are desperate for a goalie. |

Oh I'm not saying he should claim he's gonna pick "that guy or that guy"... or what the order on his list is.
What I do know though, is that there's a very possible chance he's gonna (frank) this up. |
