And that stopped him from being in the HOF or winning SB's?

We need a guy who can actually get us to important cold weather games.

I have no idea if Allen will be good, but they need to stop saying incredibly dumb things.

- sbroads24

Hey, it’s not stupid, cause ya know...it’s cold as hel with lots of snow every friggin Sunday, an occasional Monday and Thursday evening in Buffalo.

Jesus Christ!

It is beautiful in Upstate straight through mid-December.
I mean you know places like Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Philly, NE, NYC, Greenbay, Chicago, Cincinnati, ...wtf ...they are 80 straight through March.

Dumb, dumb, dumb

Except as we saw he really can’t. Zone exits were non existent for most of the year and his archaic slap shot wind up is so easy to read and block
- Sabresfan-365

I thought he had an extremely rough start, but around the midway point he started looking much better...he ended up getting more shots through than any other Sabres player

The weather argument falls down in that I can't recall a game in the last 2 decades where I thought one qb had an advantage over another qb because of the weather.

Rex Ryan and Doug Whaley have nothing to do with this team, it'll be fine.

I really feel they should just cut Peterman and Sign a vet quarterback so he can help develop him

I understand people are going to say we have AJ but he Hasn’t played the game seven years Etc

None of it matters if he can't hit his target.

It's the only thing that will matter

- sbroads24

the wind affects that...a stronger wind affects that more...he played in those conditions in Wyoming...that's why the bills liked him, even knowing full well that he needs to work on his accuracy

Beane said today on Allen. "he's big, he's strong, he's athletic" then said counting divisional games they have 10 outdoor games before saying "we know it's windy up here"...

that's a truism...the stadium is often windy and a strong arm can help cut through those winds

- Michael Pachla

Cant’t resist ...
Maybe the windy conditions will blow the ball back on track and improve his below average accuracy?
I see it now, makes perfect sense!

Having a great arm in Buffalo is a must. Smart move by the Bill's. Especially playing at home, in ne , ny, Pittsburgh playoff games

it's the wind at the stadium...

it was said last night that allen throws the ball on a rope, similar to cam...I can see why beane and co. liked him

if he would have completed 16 more passes last year, he'd have been at 62%...

is that better?

Everyone is hating on the Bill's, because they didn't pick some other qb?

Let the experts make the picks.
The Bill's put tons of work into this pick.

no...it doesn't matter one iota...

in buffalo, everyone's an expert...everyone has seen the tapes...everyone has their opinon and if the player selected isn't who they like, said player is torn to shreds by a fanbase that thinks they know what they're talking about...

it starts in the media and is flamed to the point where the fans go out of their friggen minds...

I don't know sh!t about these qb's...I haven't been on the sidelines, in the weight room, in the film room, on the road with them or out to a team dinner with them... never saw a game live and the only thing I know about their games is what I've watched on tv, saw in highlight clips, have heard or read...

I AM A FRIGGEN' EXPERT!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t think it’s a big deal ..

At the time of the tweet I thought it was him as in present day

If we have babies on the team that are offended by a tweet 6 years ago please use the door

Surely.
Is it good enough fo4 me? Nope.

Explain to me the fact that he is the most inaccurate QB of the top 4, maybe 6 but I think LJ was around there too .... so if he is inaccurate...
How in the hell does playing in a windy statium help that?
Wouldn’t the inverse argum3nt be the one to make?
I.e. he was inaccurate because he played in a windy statium?

Having a strong arm is no cure for being inaccurate.
The cure is, we believe we can fix his mechanics which will improve his accuracy...
(Then think about the success they have had with JP, Trent, EJ, Cardale, TT)

they have much more knowledge and access to information than you or I have...just because they didn't select the fan favorite or a player the fans view as a better qb, doesn't mean they got the wrong qb for what they're were looking for
