Ha i said the same thing!

I've got Eichel in my keeper pool too, so I was debting which would be better, one of those top flight wingers or Dahlin.

I think it's Dahlin no matter what though.

carolina would've been better in a way just cause they are not in our division but i like buffalo better then the hurricane so wth...

Agreed - no team should be rewarded with a prospect like Dahlin after foolishly trading away both Subban and Sergachev in apparent pursuit of becoming more 'old-stock' Canadian.

The interesting question now is who Carolina and Montreal would actually draft at 2/3, and where exactly Svechnikov in particular will wind up. If you think it's a foregone conclusion that he'll be taken right after Dahlin, consider that Carolina has literally never drafted a Russian player in their entire team history, and Montreal just finished moving out all of Radulov, Markov, and Sergachev in the past year. It's really not impossible that Svechnikov could be available at #4... and the question would then be whether Ottawa would actually deviate from their decade-long hiatus of drafting Russian players with so much on the line this off-season.
