How could this go wrong?! - AdamFrench
It’s so easy to see this would fix all your issues. Larsson would elevate Rielly to Norris level and shut down everyone he opposes...
Make it happen and profit. |

Well you have to factor in all the goals those stretch passes cost them. I thought they were brutal with those. Shorten the passes up and they could have had way better possession numbers - mgriffen
they won games because of it in this series.

it didnt work last night...I mean it could have ..if those 2 poopty goals didnt go in on Andersen |

Talking about this reminded me of the play where the Washington player came in on an empty net with the goalie pulled. And stopped and waited for the Senators guys to catch him, so he could kill the clock for a few more seconds.
I don't think I;ve seen that since. |

I’m of the mind that the Leafs should improve their D from within. They’ve got the prospects, and their #1D is still years away from his prime.
Maybe go out and trade for a D, but the UFA market will be stupid. In terms of impact on a team, Tavares will be better value that Carlson, who had a career year. |

We were pulling for you because of Andersen. But unfortunately I don't think he's a big game goalie. Andersen faltered with the Ducks too. - quackup
Both goalies were bad last night. Boston did a better job of defending in front of Rask, then we did for Andersen.
Gardiner setting up the Bruins for three goals didn't help either; In the end, a lot of things went wrong for us. For long stretches of the series, it looked like only half our team showed up.

If I were you guys I would move one of Marner or Nylander for a d-man. Kapanen can step into a top 6 role and Brown can continue to patrol the third line. One of those two guys will get you your RHD. |

'91 so I was 10 when the Pats won the first title. Mostly referring to the Red Sox losing to the Yankees every damn year and the Bruins and Celtics just wallowing in mediocrity and poop playoff exits.
The conversation was about being devastated as a kid when your teams lost and we witnessed all four just poop the bed in just phenomenal fashion every year
The Patriots had never won, the Red Sox hadn't since 1918, the Bruins since 1972 and the Celtics since 1986.
I get it - you shouldn't be complaining! I'm not, I'm just saying in those early years of my life it was nothing but disappointment and relateable to how I'm assuming Wedge's child felt. |

Also, Rielly with a minus-60 Corsi (!) over seven games is bad, bad, not good

Rielly had a 9% and an 11% Corsi game in this series. The Bruins were very aware that Hainsey/Zaitsev/Polak, weren't threats, so they spent the whole series targeting Rielly/Gardiner/Dermott, with emphasis on whoever seemed the most jittery. It worked extremely well, esp. at home
this makes sense to me. Upgrade at Least 2 of Hainsey/Zaitsev/Polak then the Leafs are going to be tough to beat.

When we collapsed, being an experienced Leafs fan, I took it in stride.
The kids were not so forgiving. My 9 year old was devastated. It was pretty sad and cute to watch.
We'll get 'em next year. - Atomic Wedgie idk I read it as such. Anyhoo

I would only move Nylander if it’s for a young top pairing rhd... which isn’t really something you see on this market.
Not a chance Marner gets moved. |
