I like it. Does it come in a leather and stainless steel version?

For Weber? It comes in my little pony themed sparkle paint, with an attachable tail.

Yeah it seems all the emotions have kind of left the room. And the trolls.

Debrusk apparently is money.

Andersen should've had that, but regardless that kid can play. He might've not have lit it up in juniors, but talk about a game that translates well to the NHL.

It was more of a respectful absence, but then I realized I'm Rick James female dog.

You know what one of the worst parts about last night was? The shots of the Boston management team.

Seeing JFJ sitting there alongside Cam 'Looks Drunk' Neely...

Would have loved to beat them ...

The Leafs couldn't take advantage of Rask's weak play.. That 3rd was all Boston
Andersen was weak/slow to react on the Heinen, Krug and Debrusk's 2nd goal.

It was a fun series to watch, good luck against Tampa..

Hopefully, the Leafs have learned a lot from this series and come back stronger next year. Bergeron taught Matthews a lot of lessons..

It will be interesting to see what changes. A number of guys are gone, so there will be quite a few holes to fill on the forward lines. You have to think at least 2 changes on the defense.

It may be that they get younger again this off-season and take a bit of a step back next year.

Look at the veterans on Boston, Tampa, Pitt, Nashville, Winnipeg, Washington

and then look at the veterans on the Leafs, a number of whom we will lose and a couple of guys who are well past their prime and are there for mentoring and to fill out the lineup while kids deveop.

We just don't stack up right now with our veterans. The rebuild is going to take a while.

the bright side is that we actually have a bright side!

The Leafs have 25 million in cap space, they will spend up to the cap like usual.

None of this getting younger bs

On the Krug goal - I was sitting 18 rows up directly behind Rask, so had a really good down the ice view of the play (poached some ticketmaster seats). It looked from there like that puck had eyes and although slow to react there was a few bodies that seemed to go through.

I really believe the bolded to be true and believe it will happen. Back in the late 2000s we just couldn't get past the first round and the one time we did, we collapsed and lost. Then the 2010 meltdown against Philadelphia in the second round and then boom the next year we sort of put it all together and won it all while going 7 games in almost every round. It will take some additional pieces, some trades whatever, but the experience truly will help the kids down the road. You took a step forward from last years playoffs and now maybe you will next year as well.

Why is Willie always going the opposite way when he dumps the puck...always going away from the play..usually flubbing the puck off the boards with very little pace?

It's one of the little things that drive me about him....great play maker/great skater/great passer but is a little soft and always seems to make a soft play off the boards in our end. ( hard to make a good pass/dump when you're going the opposite way of the puck )

Anyone else notice this?

Leafs as a club and individuals don't need lame proposals for trading 20 year olds. Matthews is not ruined by any means... but what he does next and how he reacts to the increased pressure and scrutiny will be interesting to watch. The next phase will be a test for team management to handle properly....

The message should be pretty clear however. Currently the Toronto Maple Leafs are Mitch Marner's team. Apart of Marner, only Rielly and Andersen(with exceptions) overachieved during the playoffs.

The upside is that while at points in time during the season people in insinuating that Nylander will get big money and that Matthews would be offered 10+ "or more than McDavid money"... well that ain't happening now or July 1st.

There should be fair criticisms passed around... but the team doesn't need a Simmons "hot-dog gate" or stupid show me the money comments like were made last night (Chris Johnston).

I hope Lou remains GM until the end of the season of 19-20... he's done a masterful job of the contracts so far.

....

and please - for his own sake - trade Jake Gardiner

I think we all learned a lot about Marner in that series. I hope he never loses his confidence.

Yep looked like Andersen didn't see the puck or it changed direction on him...I tried to slow it down but it was still tough to see if it change direction.
