I can't believe some people are calling for Matthews head ALREADY??? Trade Matthews, you've waited since Sundin in his prime for a #1 center, you're gifted one via the draft lotto and two years later you wanna get rid of him....WTF man.

He's 20 year's old, he's a great young player, one of the top 10 centers overall in the league. You guys are unbelieveable, really!!!

The Leafs major players are all so young and there's a lot of time to win with them, have some patience and let the team come together once they address the defense.

No haha....he's a little soft but he's a pretty good player...smooth skater with a good shot and playmaking abilities...just not sure he's built for the playoffs but I'd guess we'll give him a couple/few more cracks at it I would think.

Wise choice.

I remember the first time Plekanec played in the playoffs after posting over 60 points in the regular season.... he admitted himself that he "played like a little girl".

He got better afterwards.
