Maybe the Bills stay at 12 and use draft capital to move up from 22 to draft a LB or OL they really like. Wouldn't that throw us all for a loop?
- GilPerreault11

Stay at 12 and hope for Rosen or Jackson then move up from 22 could work. Would prefer them to move up for a QB they want and move up again from 22 for a WR.

why not just use the pick you have?...somebody was saying that there's a tier of real good players that starts in the low 20's and goes deep into the second round...in keeping those picks, the bills could fill a lot of holes and add depth later in the draft
- Michael Pachla

Genius.

This is exactly what they should do.

Two move ups would be really costly, not sure that's really an option.

So you're saying we end up with like back to backs, 12 and 13 or close to? I'd be ok with that. Like that idea. Good thinking Gil
- Hatboro_Swords

That got me thinking. Move 22 up to 13 or 14 and then see if that could get you #2 if you traded 12 and 13 for 2.

Or just move 22 to 13 and get the other player you really want and draft back to back.

Because the quality of talent supposedly drops off in the low 20's to 2nd round level. Just reporting the news

hmmm...that's not how I heard it...peter king was saying that the second round is full of value picks and might be more intriguing to teams trading down than a lower first (or something close to that)

Look at Lamars stats he is actually a drop back QB. 75%+ pct of his runs were designed. I thought he was a run first guy, fact is people think that only because he is fast and athletic.
- CoHo_to_B-Lo

His draft pro day was bad imo throwing over wide receivers and that one throw that he threw out of bounds

It just turned me off

I read that too, but if you are drafting 22 and there is a player you really like in a position of need, which the Bills have quite a few, just outside the top 10 and you have the capital to get him why not?

Bills have been playing it safe for a decade and we finally have the capital to draft a quarterback and you guys want to play it safe Lol

So we’re going to completely ignore the QB position again

That’s worked out great

Especially if 4 teams draft QB's in the top 10-12, that would leave quite a few talented players in other positions sliding.

AJ McCarron has the arm of Manning, the chip on his shoulder of Brady and the compete level of Kelly. Or at least that's what a WGR texter sent in this morning.

makes sense...who would they move up for and what would it cost...plus the big question, why would a team move out of that area and get a lesser caliber player at 22?

seems like you're overreacting again...

the bills are not getting into the top four, maybe not even top-five as Denver could use a qb as well...at least two, probably three and maybe even four of the top quarterbacks will be gone

I'm resigned to Rudolph at 22, but hopeful for Rosen/Mayfield on a trade up

Can I just say for the record I'm simply hoping to get lucky? We need a QB and to fill multiple holes. Hopefully Beane does it.

Then it’s a complete fail by the organization if you don’t draft one of 3 someone needs to be fired

if the browns take chubb at 4

I see the broncos trading back 1 or 2 spots with the colts or bucs, so they can get barkley

and then trading back again to fins, bills or cardinals

I have no idea what the Bills are going to do, I just do not think they are going to pick all top 6 picks in the first 3 rounds. I would bank that. They seem to be planning to get a QB in the first round since they picked up the extra 1st at last years draft and past on Mahomes and also traded for all the other top picks. But, it takes two to tango and we will see if they get a partner.

I didn't hear Rappaport's entire interview on WGR a little big ago, but I believe he mentioned a tier of maybe 7 or 8 elite players in round 1, then a whole bunch, like 30 guys, on the next tier.
