where are all the 'Komagod' guys now?
it's always the same; most of you guys are like twigs moving with the wind.
a few years ago Frattin, Leipsic and Sparks all were saviours...
kind of silly to see people change so easily - MaximusAurelius
lol, he's hurt...just because we think he has some use on the team....we also think he's a negative if he's not 100% healthy...talking about twigs in the wind from the guy who wanted to sign Jagr. |

Don't get me wrong, I was a fan of Komarov for the way he played...did his job, finished his checks, annoyed the other team, scored the odd goal. But in the playoffs you need to have the ability to lift your game to another level and he just doesn't have that ability.
That said, I think tonight will be reliant on how well Matthew's line does. Boston's top line has been firing from all cylinders, every game...ours has been "meh" overall. - Colin_Dambrauskas
I thought for two games the bruins lop line was held off the score sheet on 5v5 ?
Their 4th line scored 2 goals last game |

The Komagod guys...and I like him but was the "god" type....I think could be described as guys that watched this team suck for soooo long without assets in the minors to call up that when Koma came they figured it was a free asset that worked out and could throw a body check AND wasn't too expensive. JMO.
But what they have since learned is that our team actually has depth now, we finally have a decent hoard of rookies. ELCs that save us $2-4 million per depth player. This is key in having a good team under the CAP system.
Johnson, Kapanen, Dermott are the first time we've seen late-round kids come out of the minors and make a real impact in years. (Not including Matthews, Marner, Nylander of course.) |

Over half of their points were earned in the 1st two games.....but ya our top line needs to step it up for sure.
Theyve been dominant at times.... but completely disappear others.
We'll see what they have tonight and maybe weds. |

My fear is that there's going to be no interest in him around the league this summer and Toronto will happily give him a $1M / 1 year contract. - Jeffmt
He will go back accross the pond for more money than that. |

Although they've been playing like it, Marner isn't the 1st line. |

If I'm not mistaken, they've won both games when they scored first.
Will be important (especially at home) to get an early lead and the crowd behind you.
