Carolina too. They have the space and need a #1 C badly.
- Wildschwein

I think Blues or Rags could do it. (frank), maybe the Devs. But not Carolina. Dunno why not. Just know he won’t.

Poor Carolina. Only Bingo loves them, and he sucks at C.

Lol. Yeah, he pretty much $hit all over himself today. Provorov had a tough day but was basically playing with 1 arm. He fought back tears in the post game - really thinks he cost the team the game. At least he faced he media. Gudas declined to speak.

Gudas has always been a major piece of poop. Was like that in Tampa, continues today. He’s Matt Cooke with a cooler name.

Yeah I heard about Provorov’s injury. Props to him for toughing it out.

Gudas declined eh? Oh well. We all know he (frank)ed up and I’m sure he knows it too.
Anyway, just do me a solid and don’t trade him to the Pacific.

Barzal should win it easily, he was clearly the best rookie. Even if Boeser hadn't been injured Barzal was still the best young player.

Feels like he has calmed down a bit the last couple of years. To be fair, the Couts injury wasnt even intentional.. But the irony is strong

Truly Barzal was a shining light during a dismal season. But he ain’t really gonna impress me until he scores 40 goals.

Let’s just agree that Bailey came as close to scoring 40 as he’s ever likely to get.

Why? You’re not hiring Chiarelli.

I’m more inclined to believe that the Islanders will move a pick, perhaps to a team like the Blues or the Wild.

As much as I like Lee, I still worry about giving him a big money long term deal. I'd love for the Isles to be able to get DD from the KIngs.

Off topic but;

The 29-year-old former 31st overall pick is expected to sign a two-year deal with the Edmonton Oilers with an AAV of $2.5mil per season.

What does it mean for the Islanders? It's simple - explore different options and in this case the newly crowned Gagarin Cup champion - Emil Garipov. The 26-year-old goalie who has been very consistent in his career and is looking to make the jump to North America. His contract with AkBars ends on April 30th and after the season he had - he will be sought after by NHL teams.

^^^ from Oilers blog, did team lose out on Koskinen now?
FYI to Piggy, he's worse than Nillson in G, sorry ...
