Koskinen only wants to sign with the Oil because he thinks he has a legit shot at replacing Talbot.
- fry

Shocking isn’t it, what with Talbot’s contract expiring next year and all.

Of course, but the big question is how does Hall win a lotto that he isn’t in?

Lotto Ball Hall lost the gift upon taking the ice in his first playoff game. Thus the torch has been passed to Eichel, for all other 1st overalls have sampled the playoffs.

No.

The Atlantic doesn’t need Matthews, Stamkos, Bergeron, Ekblad, Karlsson, and then Eichel/Dahlin. Detroit needs some love.

I weep for you knowing the Devils need to deal with Crosby, Malkin, Giroux, Provorov, Patrick, OV, JT, Barzal, etc. I’m hoping the West picks 1-2-3.

Detroit shall never win it I’m afraid. You sold your rights to 1st overalls forever more, in return for drafting Lidstrom, Zetterberg and Datsyuk outside of the 1st round.

It is known.

From 2000 onwards. First line forwards or first pairing dmen taken after the first round.

....

None.

Filip Hronek, 53rd overall 2016
He might be an okay number two.

Johan Franzen, 97th overall 2004
He was an Eberle point producer for a few years (30-30ish), then you Klinkhammered his head to mush.

Gustav Nyquist, 121st overall 2008
20 goals, 30 assists. Very good second liner.

So, no top line players outside of the 1-30 position worth a poop.
