You are worried about Sekera's injury and not concerned about how big of a (frank)ing bandaid and piece of glass that Klefbom has been?

I never said I wasn't but knowing the Oilers have three left shots capable of playing in the top 4 who all have had injury issues (Nurse has only played one full season too) it is more than reasonable to worry about depth.

The difference between Sekera and Klefbom is twofold. One Sekera's age will start to be a factor in his play and a drop-off in production should be expected while Klefbom is only starting to enter the prime of his career. Secondly Klefbom played through the whole season with lingering issues from last year and was finally shut down while Sekera was given the full recovery time and still was ineffective upon return.

I just don’t like seeing guys kept around that did a poor job in one role already. It doesn’t set a very good example. Let’s people know that failure is OK.

There’s plenty of blame to go around with this team, all but maybe 3 players took a step back. You just love to pick a scapegoat and see them publically crucified, it’s kinda your thing.
