Cool. I was just curious. I have a bunch of friends living in the Illawarra area, and a few others spread throughout Newcastle and Sydney areas.
Never been, but want to go very badly. |

My nephew lives in Wanoona which is 1hr south of Sydney in the Illawarra. Newcastle about 2.5 hours drive north. Both areas really nice but Sydney is home for me (except when I lived in Europe & was introduced to the NHL ).
Big trip here, I've never been over there either, got as far as Hawaii. Worth the effort if you have the time. Far North Queensland with the reef (Port Douglas is my choice up there), & Daintree. Great Ocean road round the bottom of Victoria is superb. Just to name a couple of places I can personally vouch for. |

So just saw sam chicardi tweet this out.
If cap goes from 75-80 million next season like some think and the Flyers buyout Lehtara's last year, the Flyers could have about 25.5 million in cap space.

Does anyone listen to BSH Radio? They make a good point Flyers have glaring holes and Hexy has the most assets arguably in the league (Draft picks, prospects, current-rostered talent, cap space) to really improve this team this summer. That we can likely outbid any other team for x player. As much as I love playoff hockey, I’m ready for our offseason to begin. Hextall’s and our most important offseason for some time. |

Tavares, Patrick, Couturier up the middle is a pretty sexy thought. Move Frost and Rubstov to the wing. Laughton 4th line C.
Get Morin in for Gudas, Sanheim in for Manning.
Profit.

It's not next year or even the year after I'm worried about. It's having 10 million or so tied up in Tavares as we move into the 2020s and are looking at huge contracts for Provorov and Patrick and (hopefully) Frost and Hart. I'll take a pass.
I'd rather see the cap space go to filling multiple needs:
Make a deal to land a legit starting goalie that can be the bridge to Hart
Find a good 3C who can be the bridge to Frost
Go after at least one free agent who can add speed to the bottom 6 and be a quality penalty killer
And, finally, just bank the rest. They will need to re-sign Provorov, Sanheim and Konecny after next season and you want flexibility to add a free agent or 2 when you are ready to contend in another season or 2. |

I think a lot of people are going to be disappointed and calling for Hexy's head sometime around late July. |

I won’t be disappointed if Hexy doesn’t make a major splash because I’ve trusted his plan all along. But the possibility we could do so is exciting in itself for me. Hexy did make a surprise trade last off-season (Schenn) so maybe he surprises us again. |

I think there is always the possibility of a trade but I doubt he goes on a free agent spending spree.
I don't think they will be involved in making an offer to Taveras. |

Agreed. He'll sit on his hand per the usual and use all his draft picks. Sooner or later, he's going to have to sh*t or get off the pot when it comes to trades and a big UFA signing. |

Had 1 of these about the same size come a time me a few years back.
I woke up to get my new born from her cot around 1am to give to my wife to breast feed, our lamp was on & I looked up past my wife In bed who had just started feeding my little girl & saw 1 big hairy leg followed By another big (frank)ing hairy leg coming out from behind our window blinds right next to the bed. My wife saw my look & looked up & saw the big fella come right out & poop hit the fan!!
I got up & quickly grabbed a dustpan to try & get it out of the bedroom so I could get him outside & as I put the dustpan up to get it the (frank)er jumped down at me so I quickly tried to hit it which cut a leg off, then it had the choice to disappear behind some drawers or turn & try & punch on with me. The (frank)er ran at me so fast I poop bricks & just took a couple of air swings while retreating until it got so close to me I put it to sleep! (frank) me, talk about a tough female genitalia! (Not me I poop!). Fought till death the poor bastard.
They are lightning fast, but not sure a bite Fromm them will Do much. Now Funnel webs, they're a completely different beast. Those (frank)ers will kill you & take pleasure in doing so!
(frank) that. I'm pretty much peace, love, and harmony with the ecosystem, but that fella would get the Red Wing boot first, ask questions later.

I think 1 or 2 trades are made and he signs “right” pieces. Not Star players such as Tavares. Tavares is this off seasons shiny new toy (and understandably so) but I rather spread the wealth so our young guns are taken care of soon. |

So you've spent your life huffing jet exhaust. That makes things clearer. No wonder you've aligned yourself with the Pens, whose fanbase is still showing aftereffects of decades of huffing steel factory fumes
PS. I'm just messin'. Watch out for those Brown Snakes down under. You guys seem to have all the lethal critters.
