It looked like that on the replay. Couturier played a great series. But sometimes you just have to take a hit to make a play.

Good series folks. Tip of the cap. Flyers just aren’t on the pens level. We all knew it going in but the no shows of Voracek, giroux, and ghost in particular will eat at me. Crosby yet another field day, Guentzel is the real deal, Dumoulin is perhaps one of the most underrated players in the league. You guys have another decent shot at it my biggest concern would probably be Murray

Back at you Just 5. You got some nice pieces on the team going forward. I can’t figure out how Giroux had such a good season and aside from the one goal, he was pretty invisible.

It could be considered follow through though. Its not often you see a player in the position Coots was, I dont think he dove at all either. He was standing straight up and got chopped behind both skates. Pretty crazy.

I thought so too, but the rule was only changed for breakaways. You can't trip someone on a breakaway even if you get the puck, but in normal play if you get the puck first it's not a penalty.

That trip was a no call because it was an obvious dive. Letang one hand slaps the puck, the stick hits Couturier's shins, bounces away, and then Couturier face plants. He didn't go over the stick, he just felt the stick and ate it.

I could have seen a trip and diving call. He did seem to go down too hard for what Letang did.

Oh, ok. Im not watching, im at my office. I have a few Avs fan buds who said the officiating has been brutally in the Preds favour for the most part this series....could be very biased points of view haha. Its the one series I haven't seen much of at all.
