I did. Never liked him. I made a decent amount on Bodog betting on Nico going first overall in November of their draft year. I thought Patrick would fall further. But he is a good ol Canadian boy with size so he stayed in the top 3

I'm reading they lost, but hey, they weren't expected to win and they're in the middle of a retool. Hextall will continue to draft well and build for the future.

The time for them to compete isn't now, which is why Hextall won't give up assets or good draft picks to help them. Unlike Benning. Hexy isn't chasing something that isn't there, again, unlike Benning. They've got two 1st round picks again this year and some excellent kids coming.

I'm hoping they can get a short term veteran center to help ease Pettersson in. I'm not excited about Sutter playing a top six center role, he's offensively horrible
