'good play' in playoffs is more than a few easy PP goals.
- MaximusAurelius

if they are easy why doesn't everyone score on the pp like that

most points vs 3rd/4th lines or on PP.

Kessel on Toronto always had to play most difficult opponents and was the go-to guy.
That's not a very good comparison.

JVR even with the 14points hasn't showed up in playoffs - at least definitely not these past 5 games.
A few easy tapins on PP doesn't all of a sudden make him a great playoff player.

- MaximusAurelius

What a convient goal post change on your part. 0.71ppg in Toronto regular season 0.77ppg in playoffs. Ups his game statistically that's a fact but you 'think' he doesn't show up.

Huh?

As a single owner?

And who's to say the Sens haven't been screwed too? The cup hasn't been rewarded to a Canadian team for 25 years. That's a probability that is almost impossible without some kind of tampering. While struggling teams have success so they can grow the fanbase.

- Arctic_AARDVARK

I’m sure the NHL talked the Managment of Canadian Teams into being bad at their jobs for the past 25 years and counting.

Penalty mins thus far in the series:
Leafs 53 mins + 3 games for Kadri
Boston Ballerinas 28 mins'

holy

- 21peter

I like “Boston Bambis”. Leafs look at them the wrong way, and their feet go flailing.

Ballerinas are actually pretty tough... have you seen what their feet look like?

8 Cups in the last 9 years have been won by 3 teams. Deal with it.

Where's Arizona success? No that is not a probability that is impossible without tampering.

You should probably have a few scorers if you'd like to win games yeah. Toronto loses last night without that JVR goal.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck..

Do you really believe that multi-billion dollar coglamorates don't do everything in their power to protect their bussines and do whatever they can make more money? Pretty much every other league has been caught fixing games, why would the NHL be any different. It would be naive to think so.

He gets 30 goals and around 60 points every year. Has played well in the last few playoffs.

If he was good defensively he would be a 8-8 million dollar player, however he is not. So he's a 6 million dollar player.

Not every player is Matthews. Deal with it

Correct me if I'm wrong but Kessel and JVR were on the same line.
JVR has played just fine in the playoffs. He's akin to Brown, IMO; Quietly good.

Would be a horrible decision. He hasn’t been good, but he could come in tomorrow and score 2 and be the best player in the game tomorrow. You don’t healthy a guy like that even if he hasn’t been good so far.
- ClarksonDavid

That's the only time you healthy a guy like that...you don't do it if he's playing well. We could be golfing with 1 more loss.

He should.. 1 year of playing in north America should give him time to get used to playing over here. Him and Engvall are interesting.
