Coming from a Nucks fan who burned down their owned city after their team pooped the bed against the Brooins this is rich. - The Looper

Penalty minutes
Philly 73, Pittsburgh 61
Tampa 98, Jersey 98
Colorado 58, Nashville 54
Columbus 59, Washington 42
Minnesota 60, Winnipeg 60
Los Angeles 26, Vegas 28
Anaheim 56, San Jose 30
Toronto 53, Boston 28
You look at Anaheim and San Jose, and you can believe that number.
You look at the Leafs and Boston and it stands out as completely ridiculous and it only gets worse if you watched the games. - Aetherial
How many of the minutes were offsetting?

Nobody's going to complain about 2PIM to 0PIM: fans, coaches, players. It's playoff hockey, let them play 5v5: it's what we all wait for all year long. - gravyface
we cant have that since the Leafs are the better team 5 on 5 lol |

Boston scored off 2 equally bad calls and to top it off one of them was offside. The reffing has been terrible. Abysmal. |

uh, WTF?
Oh, and if you are going to go circle jerk with your Bruins buddies, don't bother coming here to pretend you are some sort of "reasonable" Leafs fan.
There is no reasonable explanation. |

Missed elbows to Marner's face in both games 1 and 2.
Reffing in games 3 and 4 was good. Fair for the most part, Boston got screwed by the delay of game call.
Leafs could have won 6 or 7 to 1 last night if not for the gong show that was the officiating.
Hopefully that is the end of this nonsense for the series.
Edit: Can someone explain to me how when Backes got 4 for roughing with Hyman and Gardiner getting 2 each that wasn't a 4-3 power play for Boston? Not that it should have been, but how can you send 2 guys to the box for concurrent penalties? Or am I missing something here? |

Sunny Afternoon thoughts:
34 needs to some PK time.
29 played better last night
Johnsson, am I allowed to cheer for a guy that works hard....I forget the rules in here.
Marleau>JVR even at his ripe old age....but it would be nice to keep both.

Hook on Rielly in game 4 ( no call ) which ended in a scrum and then as usual the scrum ended with that POS Marchand crosschecking Rielly in the ribs....right in front of the refs...........again. |

If 34 isn't injured he has a long way to go to become a decent playoff performer. We keep hearing he will be better, and we keep getting invisi-Matthews.
Seriously, how many Leafs forwards were better than Matthews last night? |

That scum with backes jumping hyman and then chara punching gardiner was disgusting. How that was even up is beyond absurd. 4-0 in punches in that scrum and it's even.

I didn't like it either...but Jake grabbing Backes when he's already tangled with Hyman....Hyman was throwing too. I would have done the same thing if I was Chara but he should have got a PIM too. IMO |

Id settle for killing vs being dangerous on the pk but they have been better last couple vs first 2.
