Here in Nova Scotia there are alot of Boston fans. I almost became a convert when I was a kid during the late sixties early seventies. How those teams only won two cups is still shocking.
Probably had alot to do with Orr’s knees. Cheers - shack67
Cause sinden traded Espo away and yeah.. they didnt know how to repair knees back then. |

Nash should sue his stick maker. - AdamFrench
#brokenstickgate
All joking aside it wouldn’t surprise me if a team did that. Take a partially broken stick into the corners and when they get stick checked it breaks resulting in a powerplay. Not the dumbest thing I’ve heard.
In the leafs system it wouldn’t be a Matthews holding a partially broken stick, it would be a komarov that wouldn’t score anyways lol |

Lots of Bruins had off games last night. Mccavoy doesn't look right and is turning the puck over like crazy. Unimpressed with Nash as he is not generating anything dangerous and just skates around with the puck with no results. The 3rd line is a concern at this point throughout the series. It may be time to look at shaking something up and sit Heinen, he doesn't look very good. Lines #1 and #4 are playing great.
Overall the team was pressing and looked strong the last 40 minutes which should be a good confidence builder for game 6. Have to believe Rask will be sharp and can pull off a road win. - Tachmo
Sit Heinen, put in Donato, what the heck right?
I think mcavoy is still bothered by his knee, he's not skating like he was before the injury. |

Summary of Game 5:
Refs blew a very late whistle on Bruins only penalty.. They did not want to give the Leafs a PP but had no choice, since the B stick was stuck in the Leaf players skate..
Refs would have given the B's a 5 on 2 or 5 on 1 if they could. Very one sided officiating.
Leafs were out of the game after it became 4-1 due to all the B PP's killing any momentum and keeping the Toronto offense off the ice.
Officials tried desperately to affect the outcome of the game, but couldn't.
Leafs strategy is to hammer Pasternak each and every time he touches the puck. He is very soft like his buddy Nylander. Bergeron playing hurt.
Leafs will win game 6. They will win game 7 in Boston. The B's will fold under the pressure. They have too many crappy players (backes, nash, nash, etc)... |

It couldn't hurt to give it a try. Donato looked kind of lost in his first game, but it could have just been first game jitters. Heinen only played 9 1/2 minutes last game, which is the least he's played in the series, so maybe it would be time to give him a game off and see if Donato can bring some offense this game. |

I feel like Heinen's game was inflated during the season. That third line was doing well for a while before the Bergeron injury shuffled everything, but now there needs to be a shakeup. Put Backes with Krejci and Debrusk and drop Nash with Riley and Donato. |

Looks like Wingels is in for Heinen.
Donato could provide the offence as needed but they say the risk is too great of him giving up a goal. Hard to say. It could be risky putting Donato into the lineup but I wouldn't be opposed to it. |

Game 6.
Tuukka needs to not be Puukka.
Pastrnak needs to stop missing the net and hitting posts.
Defense needs to stop letting guys behind them.

cant argue with any of that, including the Game 6 part. Even Game tuukka is better than odd game tuukka, for some reason, so I feel good about him tonight.

These new face-off rules are hot garbage. I don't think it has that much an effect but it is just obnoxious. Drop the puck.
Ty great job on the radio man.
Well Toronto we do have one thing in common:

The B's aren't making the strong plays out of the zone that we have seen all year. They are reverting back to the 2017 chuck it out of the zone safe play, just giving possession away. Toronto is putting pretty good pressure though so i give them some credit.
Did not want to see game 7 but i think they get it done.
